Three Muskateers

Carter and Cole just love Conley.  They really do.  I'm surprised at how little jealousy has really surfaced.  And when it does, it's more of a nusance than a real problem.  It occurs mostly when I'm feeding Conley and the big boys come over and climb on me like I'm a jungle gym. But all in all, they have adjusted beautifully to having another sibling.  So much so, I find that most of the pictures I take of them are when one his holding Conley.  Here are few (ok, more than a few) examples. Hey, I'm way behind so I have 8 weeks of photo ops ...
Conley at 10 days old

 Conley at 3.5 weeks
5 weeks - before Conley could smile, so the fact that all three are looking at the camera is unbelievable.
 6 weeks
Sometimes Conley isn't thrilled about being held by the boys, but they don't care.  Carter and Cole still fight to hold him.

8 weeks - he learned to smile at 7 weeks, more to come on that milestone.

If they aren't holding him when he's awake, then they are probably snuggling up with him in his crib while Conley watches his mobile.  Conley loves his mobile.  He isn't fond of BOTH boys in the crib with him, but will tolerate one, due to space issues.  But I try and sneak him off when the big boys aren't paying attention, so that Conley can really enjoy time in there.

Here's a video of him at 8 weeks chewing on his fist.  He loves to suck on his hands. I really hope he doesn't become a thumb sucker.  Even though we had issues with Cole and the pacifier, I'd MUCH rather him take a paci than his thumb.  I can take away the pacifier, not so much with an apendage ...

And a video of Conley in a rare moment of alone time in his crib

Here are pictures of Conley and his mobile.  And thus, Carter and Cole watching Conley, watch the mobile.

One is peaceful
 Two is cozy
And three is definitely a crowd.

I can trust Carter to snuggle up to Conley and be careful.  Cole on the other hand doesn't understand how gentle he needs to be, so he needs close supervision.  But when he's in there, or anywhere for that matter, with Conley, he loves to get in his face and talk to him.  He really loves his little brother.  And I think you can tell Conley loves him back.
 Cute smile at 8 weeks.

Here is a video of all three boys playing together on my bed.  You can see how Carter can get a little bossy and protective and how Cole likes to get right up in Conley's face.  You'll also see Conley smiling.
